Whales frolicking in the surf just outside my door was what inspired this piece. On the coast side here in the Bay Area, the whales come around in the summertime and it is my favorite time of year. Marine mammals and the ocean have been one of the loves of my life and I love to be able to capture them in a fun way. Here is the family swimming around each other, Mama and Papa and their 2 offspring.
